We are happy to officially announce the hiring of Nicola Fraley as the next principal of Rindge Memorial School to the JRCSD community!
Many of you may already know her as the assistant principal of Rindge Memorial School and Jaffrey Grade School, a role she has held since the start of the 2019-20 school year. She will officially take over in her new role on July 1, 2022.
“RMS is a great school filled with passionate and skilled educators, and I am honored to be selected as the next leader of Rindge Memorial School,” said Mrs. Fraley. “I am looking forward to working closely with all students, staff, families, and community members at RMS to achieve great success for all of our learners.”
A meet and greet event will be held on Thursday, April 14, at 6:00 p.m. at Rindge Memorial School.
Mrs. Fraley’s career in education spans two decades, serving as a paraprofessional, classroom teacher, instructional coach, and principal in the ConVal School District, and as a principal in the Amherst School District. She has a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and an Educational Leadership certification, which she received from Keene State College in 2003 and 2013, respectively.
“I am committed to ensuring that every person feels valued and respected and that every voice is heard. I want everyone to enjoy coming to school every day and be proud of our achievements, which we will celebrate as a community,” said Mrs. Fraley.
Fraley said she is passionate about helping learners develop knowledge, skills, and dispositions that ensure they will be successful both inside and outside the classroom.
“Nicky has been an incredible asset to our district over the past three years,” said Superintendent Reuben Duncan. “We are very excited that she will be continuing to serve our learners and staff at RMS, as well as the Rindge community as a whole, in this new capacity."
Prior to her career in education, Fraley graduated from the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom with a degree in law and European business. She began working in public education in 2000 when she relocated from the UK. In her freetime, she enjoys cooking and baking in the kitchen and having various outdoor adventures with her family. She also enjoys hula hooping, can still do a handstand, and has completed two of the six World Marathon Majors - Chicago and Berlin, Germany.
